I’m an illustrator and designer who lives and works in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I grew up with a love for drawing and followed that passion to MacEwan University, where I graduated from the Design and Illustration program. My illustrations have been in magazines, children’s books, and exhibitions across Canada and the United States.
In addition to illustration, I work as a graphic designer at Curio Studio, where I’m the art director and owner. Being a designer helps me better understand the role of illustration within an overall design, and the ways in which the two disciplines work together. I’m also the President of the Graphic Designers of Canada, Alberta North Chapter, and a past faculty member at MacEwan University.
I like designing, drawing, making art, teaching kids or adults, and collaborating with people who think positive. Visit amandaschutz.com for my portfolio.
